The new owners of the historic Yongala Lodge in Carter street recently contacted The Coloured House for a refurbishment of their establishment. They wanted something updated but still to keep in with the tradional hertiage of the building. Our interior designers Anne and Rachael spent many hours with owners Natalie and Robert Flecker working together to achieve a new look yet keeping to tradional colours as much as they could. Some subtle changes where made in the dining section, whereas a complete facelift was performed on some of the motel style rooms. The result is a fresh look for one of Townsville's most graceful historic buildings.
